| So, God is like a power plant. Power plants produce power (Jesus) and sends it to us (Holy Spirit) to use for things like lighting your house. But God's power (Jesus) is not automatic. We must choose to plug into the receptacle and turn the light on...Oh, it doesn't work? Check the bulb...is it too broken to use? Our lives without God can work fine for a long time and then...zam!...one day it is broke. What happened? Life...that's what! We live in a broken world and we can expect the brokenness to be a part of us as well. Some of us deal with it daily...some of us are spared almost entirely...but one thing is certain...We must all deal with brokenness from time to time. And that's when I talk to God. It really does help...God Bless! |
